Oh my!

They do look very sore - they also look quite chronic - are her feet hot to the touch? The certainly look inflammed.

Again, it is difficult to say because I cannot see her "in the flesh" but I would hazard a guess that they are long-term ulcers which will need similar treatment to Kiera's. You are doing all the right things - antibiotics, Metacam for pain relief, and pressure relief with towels or carpet lining the mesh floor and any shelves.

It may be she would like a heat mat because warmth certainly eases Kiera's aches on the cold winter days and nights. :)

Maybe she would like a holiday at Misfit Manor? :rwinky:

I am just wondering if her head tilt and possible fits are linked to her infected feet - it is possible she is septic due to long-term chronic infected foot ulcers.
It may take a good while to get her stabilised. Green cream, with its silver applied to the feet topically will help reduce infection a little.

I wish you the best of luck.

As we were discussing a while ago - I kinda have this theory about bumblefoot being secondary to another problem that is causing circulation problems, such as diabetes. But it is of course a theory - although I think it's possible to test with a urine strip as with people. Blood tests are more of a problem as I think rodent's blood glucose can go haywire under stress and having a needle stuck in you is pretty stressful.

In terms of evening primrose oil I give a drop from a capsule on a treat daily for a week and then occasionally if anyone has dry flaky skin here. If she's getting a spray on her wounds I don't know if it's a good idea to rub it in and risk diluting the treatment.

:*( I have had to start bummble on antibiotics again..I have done all I can keeping her cage clean..using a soft matt for her...green cream ....purple spray when required...She seemed fine but when I picked her up yesterday her ankle area seemed more swollen than usual and I could see a tiny bit of puss...and when I gently squeezed more puss came out..
I have started her back on antibiotics as advised by the vet.She is so sweet I feel so sorry for her It cant be nice for her. :grouphug:

I'm sorry to hear the infection is back, Donna :-[

Those bumbles look chronic so it may take a good while for the infection to clear completely(if ever  ). It may simply be a case of controlling symptoms as they occur. I truly hope you can clear the infection this time though.

Best wishes
